ABOUT

Becca Losey is a writer of gothic horror and fantasy novels, short stories, and screenplays. She is currently a student at the University of Southern California with a major in Narrative Studies and a minor in Cinematic Arts, and she intends to pursue an MA in Literary Editing and Publishing. Additionally, Becca has been personally mentored by the NYT-bestselling author Tomi Adeyemi.

As a writer, Becca loves stories that feature morally grey, complex characters. In her work, she combines gothic influences with modern feminist fantasy to create mind-bending yet empowering pieces.

Becca is currently working on adapting an Edgar Allan Poe story into a short film. She is also in the process of outlining her next novel, a queer YA fantasy that can be pitched as Portrait of a Lady on Fire meets A Court of Thorns and Roses.
